Goals & Tasks of Contact Lens Society of Ophthalmologists of Serbia

Main course of the Society activities are:

1. Goal of the Contact Lens Society of Ophthalmologists of Serbia (hereinafter referred to as: Society) are continuous activities directed toward goal of solely qualified application of contact lenses in ophthalmologic practice

2. Organizing and conducting permanent education of ophthalmologists in domain of contact lens application on territory of Serbia, verifying knowledge of contactologists and issuing appropriate certificates

3. Organizing vocational meetings and seminars

4. Connecting and exchanging experiences with similar international societies

5. Controlling and monitoring of vocational work in domain of contact lens application in accordance with law 6. Participation of members of the Society in expertise within this domain

7. Cooperation with the Ministry of Health, Medicine Faculties and inspection services for purpose of achieving aforesaid goals, particularly for legal regulation of ophthalmologist’s obligations determining and prescribing contact lenses, to own Certificate of this Society for performing contactology practice.
